April 30, 2013 Roadrunner Transportation Systems Announces Acquisition of Wando Trucking
Cudahy, WI – April 30, 2013 - Roadrunner Transportation Systems, Inc. (NYSE: RRTS) announced that it has acquired all of the outstanding stock and the Charleston, SC, property of Wando Trucking, a provider of intermodal transportation and related services in the Southeast. Wando primarily transports imports and exports including raw rubber, building materials, paper, and plastics from the ports of Charleston, SC, and Savannah, GA. The purchase price was approximately $9 million. The acquisition was financed with borrowings under Roadrunner’s credit facility. “The Wando acquisition enhances the scale of our intermodal services in the Southeast and provides better access to the ports of Charleston and Savannah,” said Brian van Helden, president of Roadrunner’s Truckload and Logistics business segment. “We look forward to supporting and expanding Wando's strong customer relationships and service record as we pursue continued growth in the business.” Welcome Wando to the RRTS Carrier Group!

November 5, 2012 – Roadrunner Transportation Systems Announces Acquisition Of Central Cal Transportation
Cudahy, WI - November 5, 2012 - Roadrunner Transportation Systems, Inc. (NYSE: RRTS) announced today that it has acquired all of the outstanding stock of Central Cal Transportation ("Central Cal"), a provider of intermodal transportation and related services from the Northern California region. Central Cal transports primarily nuts, wine and retail import products. The purchase price was approximately $4 million plus an earnout. The acquisition was financed with borrowings under Roadrunner's credit facility. Mark DiBlasi, President and CEO of Roadrunner, said, “The Central Cal acquisition substantially enhances the scale and critical mass of our drayage operations in the West Coast region. In addition, the seasonality of Central Cal's freight mix complements our existing intermodal business, which we believe will enhance our driver utilization and retention. This transfer will separate our intermodal dray operations to operate under Roadrunner Intermodal, while Morgan Southern, Inc. will remain our over-the-road and volume LTL carrier (www.morgansouthern.com). These changes will enable both organizations to focus on their key competencies and maintain their quality service and capacity to their core customers.

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Bob Cheatham to the position of Director of Safety and Risk Management at our corporate office. Danny Welch has been promoted to Atlanta terminal manager.
